About Camille

Called to Serve – Camille Bennett-Campbell is the Principal Consultant of Bennett-Campbell Law (BCL). Hardworking, detail-oriented, humble, patient, and passionate are only some of the attributes that best describe Camille Bennett-Campbell’s approach to life and, by extension, her work in law. With almost 25 years of experience as a practicing Attorney-at-Law, having been called to the Bar in Jamaica in 1999, she brings extensive expertise to BCL. She holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) with Honours from the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus, and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) with Honours in English from the University of the West Indies, Mona. She also earned a Master of Laws (LLM) in Law and Employment Relations (with Merit) from the University of Leicester, United Kingdom, in 2007.

Camille has garnered experience in various areas of law, including estate administration, contract law, construction contracts, commercial and residential leases, and conveyancing. While she practices across these fields, her primary focus lies in labor and employment law, disabilities law, and occupational safety and health law. This interest flourished during her nearly 13 years at the Ministry of Labour and Social Security (MLSS) Jamaica, where she served as Senior Legal Officer (2009–2013), Acting Director of Legal Services in 2014, and ultimately Director, a role she held until July 2022. After joining the private sector, she gained further experience as a consultant with Employment Matters Caribbean and Karene N. Stanley & Co.
